Introduction: The main role of universities is to provide educational and research services to the community. Obviously, it is impossible to achieve goals and fulfill responsibilities without sufficient financial resources. Therefore, adequate funding is one of the most important challenges facing the universities.Considering the ubiquity of higher education institutions and the variety of operational strategies they offer to meet their financial resources, proper knowledge of these strategies is essential. The aim of this study is to critically identify models of financial allocation in higher education and consequently provide modulating suggestions. Methods: In this study, a “critical review” approach was adopted to qualitatively evaluate and review the models of financial allocation. Results: According to previous studies, scientists in the field of education, economics and management have introduced three models to allocate financial resources in higher education. These models are based on the interactions between sources of financing and the impact of investment in higher education. Each of these three general models, known as bureaucratic model, market-based model and collegial model, have their own advantages and disadvantages that have been criticized in this study. Conclusions: Adequate and sustained resources are required to achieve the goals of higher education. Therefore, it is possible to increase educational fund in higher education with a modulating attitude toward the most appropriate resource allocation model that is to the benefit of both society and government. By Examining a variety of payment methods and integrating best practices and models, we can see the tremendous impact on the performance of higher education systems in Iran. Introduction: The website of an organization is a gateway for providing information, products or services and should be designed based on the users’ demands. The aim of present study is to evaluate the usability of Central Library website of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences from dental post-graduate Students’ Point of view. Methods: Survey method was used in this study. Study population consists of Post-graduate students of Mashhad dental school. According to the Morgan's table, 80 questionnaires were distributed among the students and 59 of them were collected eventually. For statistical analysis, SPSS software was used. Data were collected by a questionnaire, which was designed based on the pervious researches in the field. Validity of the questionnaire was assessed by some experts in the field and its reliability was evaluated through Cronbach's alpha in a group consisted of fifty students. Results: The results of this study revealed that the usability of central library website was good (60-80%) from the user's point of view. "Content" got the lowest score 3.28 (66%) and "Organization and readability" with the mean score of 3.64 (73%) had the highest rank. Introduction: Illicit drug abuse has emerged as a health, medical and social issue in the current century. The purpose of this study is to review the brief interventions for the prevention and treatment of illicit drug abuse. Method: The search was conducted in the SCOPUS, PUBMED, PROQUEST, SCIENCE DIRECT, ISC, MAGIRAN, and IRANDOC databases, with the key words of substance abuse, illicit drug abuse, addiction, motivational interviewing, motivational interview, and brief interventions without any time limitation. Results: Brief interventions can reduce or discourage drug abuse by helping people understand how their behavior puts them at risk. The most effective interventions are for people who are neither heavy nor prolonged drug abusers, but present with impulsive, problematic or dangerous patterns of substance use. Conclusion: Brief interventions presented by health service providers are evidence-based services, that are proved to be effective in motivating behavioral changes in people at risk of substance abuse and related health problems.
