Abstract
Introduction: The website of an organization is a gateway for providing information, products or services and should be designed based on the users’ demands. The aim of present study is to evaluate the usability of Central Library website of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences from dental post-graduate Students’ Point of view.
Methods: Survey method was used in this study. Study population consists of Post-graduate students of Mashhad dental school. According to the Morgan's table, 80 questionnaires were distributed among the students and 59 of them were collected eventually. For statistical analysis, SPSS software was used. Data were collected by a questionnaire, which was designed based on the pervious researches in the field. Validity of the questionnaire was assessed by some experts in the field and its reliability was evaluated through Cronbach's alpha in a group consisted of fifty students.
Results: The results of this study revealed that the usability of central library website was good (60-80%) from the user's point of view. "Content" got the lowest score 3.28 (66%) and "Organization and readability" with the mean score of 3.64 (73%) had the highest rank.
