Abstract

The effect of human capital maturity on the productivity of knowledge workers (Case study: Birjand University of Medical Sciences)
Abstract
IntroductionExperts today believe that human capital, because of its scarcity, value, irreplaceability and imitability, is critical to achieving a sustainable competitive advantage and plays the most important role in increasing or decreasing the productivity of the organization. The present study investigate the effect of human capital maturity on the productivity of knowledge workers of Birjand University of Medical Sciences
Methods:The present study and field survey. The statistical population of the study is all knowledge workers of Birjand University of Medical Sciences who were selected as a sample through simple random sampling method, according to Morgan table and the formula for the number of indicators in structural equations, 90 people. data were collected through a questionnaire that was analyzed using structural equation modeling and Spss and PLS software.
Results: The results show that among the independent variable components of human capital maturity, learning capacity drivers with an average of 3.41, access to knowledge with an average of 3.38, employee participation with an average of 3.20, workforce optimization with an average of 3.16 and practice Leaders with an average of 2.48 were ranked first to fifth, respectively. Cronbach's alpha of human capital maturity items is equal to 75.4 and productivity items are equal to 81.6. Among the components of human capital maturity are leadership measures, staff involvement, access to knowledge, optimization, human capital on Knowledge staff productivity has a positive and significant effect and the hypothesis of the effect of learning capacity on knowledge staff productivity was rejected.
Conclusion: The components of human capital maturity are effective in predicting the productivity of knowledge workers
